DESCRIPTION
Two newspaper clippings from the scrapbook of Dr. Amarjit Marwah.

The first, an article from India-West by Rajen S. Anand entitled "Dharmendra Show Dogged by Delays Due to Missed Flights" and dated September 15, 1989, describes the near-cancellation of Asia Super Star Night, a Los Angeles-based night of entertainment by Indian film stars and musicians, due to transportation issues. Dr. Marwah is mentioned as having presented a certificate of appreciation to Dharmendra on behalf of the mayor.

The second, an article from L.A. India by Angad Nehru entitled "Ambassador P.K. Kaul Sums Up His U.S. Tenure as 'Refreshing'" and dated July 7, 1989, reports on a farewell dinner for outgoing Indian ambassador P.K. Kaul, held at Dr. Marwah's Malibu home. Dr. Marwah is pictured alongside Ambassador Kaul and Consul General K.K.S. Rana.
