DESCRIPTION
Announcement by John R. Nichols, resident counselor at the University of Oklahoma, explaining that "according to Sharanjit Singh Dhillonn," the "Maharaja of Florpur" was interested in seeing the life of a typical American university student, and would be visiting on October 29, 1955. Dhillonn often jokingly claimed to be a maharaja hailing from the nonexistent "Florpur" during his college years, dressing the part at costume parties and writing press releases announcing his travels to and from OU.
