Statement of support for the “Walk for Human Rights” issued by the Committee of Concerned Indian Students (CCIS) and the Committee for Human Rights at the University of California at Berkeley, September 1976. The walk raised awareness about sanctions the Indian government imposed on Indian American students who spoke out against Indira Gandhi’s administration.
