Alderman Bernard L. Stone (50th Ward) introduced an ordinance at the July 30, 1997, City Council meeting authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Transportation to take the actions necessary to honorarily designate West Devon Avenue from North Ravenswood Avenue to North Damen Avenue as “Sheikh Mujib Way.”

Please authorize this honorary designation pending passage of this ordinance in the Committee on Transportation and Public Way.
