The United States of India (January 1924)
The January 1924 issue of the United States of India (Vol. 1, No. 6) published from the headquarters of the "Pacific Coast Hindustani Association" at No. 5 Wood Street, San Francisco featured the following articles: "False Notions About India Explained," and the poem "Rob Him For His Good" by Bertrand Shadwell. The editorial section opens the issue on a note of sarcasm with "Our Christmas prayer," which is a thinly veiled critique of British colonialism.
