Also discussed: caste, ethnicity, class in Nepal and Nepali diaspora.

Highway Film Poster
Film poster of 2012 feature debut Highway. Highway was Asha Magrati and Deepak Rauniyar's first film, and also the first Nepali film to premiere at an A-list film festival. Asha and Deepak made this film in collaboration with a US company: Louverture film. In 2011, they arrived in New York to edit and finish this film. Since then, they have been living between the US and Nepal.
