"V.P. Singh's Spiritual Remarks Surprise Many: No Section of Indians Should be Target of Hatred"; "FHA Stages Protest Against V.P. Singh"

DESCRIPTION
Two articles on the front page of the October 20, 1995 issue of India Journal. The first, "V.P. Singh's Spiritual Remarks Surprise Many: No Section of Indians Should be Target of Hatred" by Navneet S. Chugh, describes a well-received speech given by former Indian Prime Minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh at a dinner in the Malibu home of Dr. Amarjit Marwah. The second is a much smaller article entitled "FHA Stages Protest Against V.P. Singh" which describes a protest staged against V.P. Singh outside his hotel during the same visit to California; the protest comprised "about 50 activists of the Federation of Hindu Associations."
