Newspaper clipping from The Chicago Sun-Times dated January 26, 1971 of a letter to the editor by William R. Polk and Peter Diamandopoulos, President and Director of Studies at the Adlai Stevenson Institute, respectively, explaining the mission and purview of the Institute in response to questions received after Eqbal Ahmad, a fellow at the Institute, was arrested on charges of conspiring to kidnap Henry Kissinger and cause damage to federal buildings in Washington, D.C.
