Your kind letter received and I am glad to note that you are getting along nicely in your work. Have you given up your college work? Earle has enlisted in the Navy, he enlisted about three weeks ago and is at present at the Training Station, Newport, R.I. If you write him there he will get he letter alright. He has the promise of an appointment to Annapolis and his plan is to go there in the course of a year, but in the mean time get all the experience he can in the navy.
I note what you say about having men come here next year. I would be glad indeed to see several Hindu cadets here next year. The University opened up this fall with an attendance of 180. The entering class not quite as large as last year, but they say that have a fine class of boys and the outlook is especially good for foot ball.
Let me hear from you from time to time. I will remember you to the people as you requested.
