DESCRIPTION
The December 1916 issue of The Hindusthanee Student (Vol. 3, No. 3), published from the Nalanda Club in Urbana, Illinois. The issue includes essays on "Rabindra Nath Tagore's Message to America" by A.R. Seymour, and "Higher Education in Switzerland" by Arnold Emch, and two continued articles from pervious issues: "On the Contributions of India to Human Civilization" by Jacob Kunz, "Lingua Natioale Del Hind" (sic) by V.R. Kokatnur. The opening page of the issue advertises the Annual Convention of the Hindusthan Association of America (H.A.A.) in New York on December 24, 25, and 26, 1916.

At the time, the officers of the H.A.A. were N.S. Hardikar (President), S.N. Karr (Gen. Secretary), N.R. Chowdhury (Treasurer), and K. Tullasker, K.K. Bose, and D.R. Guha (Joint Vice Presidents).
