"The Hidden Histories of South Asian Chicago" Fundraising Gala


Location: The Newberry Library, 60 W Walton St., Chicago, IL
Celebrating 140 years of South Asian American history and the hidden stories of South Asians in Chicago. Join us on the night of November 21st to celebrate 140 years of South Asian American history, and uncover new stories about South Asians in Chicago from the years past. The event will include remarks from prominent South Asian community members, and a special performance by Boston-based artist, Anju. All proceeds will go to collecting and archiving stories from the South Asian American community.
