Recap: Presentation at Indian Ambassador's Residence

On October 3, I had the honor of doing a presentation sharing materials from SAADA at the residence of Indian Ambassador Nirupama Rao. The event was to commemorate the 144th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and also featured a performance by Grammy-nominated artist, Chandrika Tandon.

UnSung Theater Project


AUGUST 15, 2013
The UnSung Theater Project, a student group at the University of the Arts (in Philadelphia), will be creating a theater production based on stories and materials from SAADA. They are seeking input from community members about their experiences in order to help inform the script. The Sutter County Community Memorial Museum (Yuba City is the county seat) houses the 'Becoming American' exhibit, focusing on the history of South Asians in the local area.
