Community Giving Manager

Community Giving Manager Role:
The Community Giving Manager is a dynamic and critical role within our organization, playing a vital part in securing financial support for SAADA to deliver on our mission, deepen our impact, and foster meaningful connections across the country. You will report to and work closely with SAADA’s Executive Director to develop and execute innovative relationship-based fundraising strategies that secure broad-based community support, major giving, and corporate sponsorships to support SAADA’s work.

Responsibilities Include:

Building and retaining a broad base of community giving for SAADA (60%):
  • Collaborating with SAADA’s Executive Director in the cultivation and stewardship of donors
  • Conducting donor research and keeping detailed records of donor interactions to support fundraising efforts
  • Preparing and sending timely gift acknowledgements and donor correspondence in order to demonstrate SAADA’s appreciation for our donors
  • Drafting language for SAADA’s fundraising campaigns and donor correspondence
  • Producing targeted campaigns for communications, solicitation, and invitations using direct mail, email, and social media
  • Following up with gift pledges to ensure that payments are received
  • Coordinating and supporting SAADA’s peer-to-peer fundraising efforts

Managing constituent data in Salesforce (20%):
  • Maintaining SAADA’s constituent database in Salesforce, including data entry and maintenance of donor, volunteer, event attendee, and other lead and contact records
  • Designing and generating reports to support fundraising, outreach, programs, and events

Pursuing corporate sponsorships to support SAADA’s programs and events (10%):
  • Identifying and soliciting corporate gifts to support SAADA’s landmark programs

Other Responsibilities (10%):
  • Pursuing professional development opportunities and trainings
  • Performing other duties as assigned by SAADA's Executive Director

  • Strong understanding of community-based fundraising and grassroots engagement through at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with donor database management and donor stewardship
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships within the South Asian American community
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational and project management skills
  • Available for occasional weekend/evening meetings and events (2-3 times/month) and time-sensitive deadlines

Salary and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. SAADA is committed to providing our staff with a competitive benefits package, which includes a monthly health insurance stipend, paid time off, short- and long-term disability and life insurance, retirement matching, a wellness stipend, and a professional development fund. This hybrid position (four days in office per week) is based in SAADA’s Philadelphia office, located at 1650 Arch Street, Suite 2130, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
