Jahura Hobby's story was featured in the Detroit Free Press Michigan Business section featuring a story about small businesses in the wedding industry coping through the pandemic in 2020. Jahura says she was grateful that her business was featured as a major business in the wedding industry and recognized as a metro Detroit business in the wedding industry. Jahura began freelancing professional makeup services in 2011, later opening her studio JHobby Makeup Studio in Pleasant Ridge, MI, additional to providing on-site services for brides in 2017. Jahura is a metro Detroit Bangladeshi Woman Entrepreneur.
