Two newspaper clippings from the scrapbook of Dr. Amarjit Marwah, each taken from separate issues of L.A. India.
The first, entitled "Spectators Also Dance to Make Golden Star Night Memorable" and dated April 20, 1990, describes a Long Beach performance by visiting Indian entertainers Malkiat Singh and Preeti Sapru. The article mentions that Dr. Marwah honored Singh with a proclamation at the event.
The second, an article entitled "Happy Wedding" and dated May 25, 1990, reports on the marriage of Jaspreet Marwah (daughter of Amarjit) and Gurminder Ahuja; it also mentions that the wedding was attended by nearly 1,500 people, including Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley, California Governor Jerry Brown, and many more.
