"Enthusiastic India Day Celebrated at UCLA" / "UCLA marks Republic Day to honor India"

DESCRIPTION
Two newspaper clippings from Dr. Amarjit Marwah's scrapbook, the first one from India Journal entitled "Enthusiastic India Day Celebrated at UCLA" and dated January 31, 1997 and the second one from India Abroad entitled "UCLA marks Republic Day to honor India" and dated February 7, 1997. Both describe UCLA's India Day celebrations, during which Dr. Marwah raised the Indian flag and read the Declaration of Purna Swaraj aloud; he is pictured in the second article.
