Letter from Khizar Hayat Tiwana to Abnashi Ram

DESCRIPTION
Letter from Khizar Hayat Tiwana to Abnashi Ram, dated September 11, 1961. Tiwana comments that he and Ram are both lucky to still be alive, considering their heart troubles. He also mentions their mutual friend Mumtaz Kitchlew as having left for his Hajj, and remarks that this is a positive development considering how distraught Kitchlew has been over the death of his wife Helene. Tiwana goes on to say that he would like to find Kitchlew a new wife, but cannot seem to locate his exact whereabouts, and asks Ram how old Kitchlew is for the purposes of matchmaking. He closes by saying he hopes to visit the United States within the year.
