Letter from Mumtaz Kitchlew to Roshan Sharma

DESCRIPTION
Letter from Mumtaz Kitchlew to Roshan Sharma, dated May 24, 1969 and postmarked from Chicago. Kitchlew writes with excitement of Sharma's upcoming visit to Chicago, and thanks him for his positive appraisal of Kitchlew's previous correspondence with Abnashi Ram. He also thanks Sharma for sending an autographed copy of his book, Holy Men and Holy Cows: the Adventures and Philosophies of an Americanized Hindu, and supports Sharma's idea of writing about Indians migrating to the United States from 1900-1939 in his next book (though he doubts American readers will have much interest). In discussing the history of the Ghadar Party, Kitchlew also mentions M.R. Ahuja, Ram Bagai, Gobindram Watumull, Dr. Syud Hossain, Gobind Behari Lal, J.N. Sharma, Dalip Singh Saund, J.J. Singh, Dr. Anup Singh, and L.C. Mehra.
