Letter from Taraknath Das to G.J. Watumull dated February 25, 1944. Das informs Watumull of a bill proposed by Senator William Langer to grant citizenship to Indians residing in the U.S. The bill, he writes, was introduced on December 15, 1943, but Das did not learn of it until February 1944, when Senator Langer sent him a copy of the proposed bill directly.
