My dear - Prof. Roberts,
This evening I am in receipt of a copy of Montpelier Evening Argus of March 5 - 1910, which contains the article "Was Was Norwich Student" referring to my activity. In some minor points I find some misrepresentations however I see whoever has written the article is very much acquainted with my life as if you can host the writer will you be kind enough to let me know about it.
Some time ago I wrote to you but I did not get any reply. I think you are very busy. I shall be [?] so much obliged if you can help me in suggesting some literature on "Govt". I am collecting materials to write a paper on "The Principles of Free Govt". I need some suggestions from you on the matter. While I was in N.U. I looked through several of House documents to collect materials on "Literature and Referendum" Miss [?] is very well acquainted with them. So would you be kind enough to aks Miss Silusthorn about it and get a list of the documentary literature and send it to me. It will save my time.
I would have personally written to her but I thought it will be better effect if you attempt to get it for me. Please write to me and I think it is not necessary to give my address to anybody. I am glad to tell you that I shall get my A.B. this June from the Dept of Political Science. I shall get my Normal Diploma too. I am artfully busy. I am studying (1) Western Philosophy, (2) Municipal Government, (3) Trust and Financial Organization of Higher Order (4) Public Fiance and Taxation (5) Tariff (6) School Administration (7) and Moral Education. You will be glad to hear I have been elected President of the Philosophical Club of the University of Wash, [?] Secy of the Cosmpolitan Club of U of W.
I like to know how is Paul getting along? Is there any chance of getting any scholarship for a worthy good and sober Hindu Student in N.U.? I have not forgotten N.U. I expect to visit N.U. 1911 or 1923 when I shall be on my way to Europe. I might take my A.M. July 1911. With my kindest regards to Mrs. Roberts, you and other friends.
Very cordially yours,
Taraknath Das
