DESCRIPTION
The October 1927 edition of the The United States of India (Vol. 5, Nos. 1-4) opens with an obituary for Santokh Singh, who was active in the Gadar Party and also arrested for his involvement in the Hindu-German Conspiracy case. The issue also announces the recent arrests and guilty verdicts of Gainda Singh, Daswandha Singh, and Gajjan Singh in Shangai on charges of sedition. Photos of Gainda Singh, Daswandha Singh, and Santokh Singh are included. The following articles and headlines are also included: "Ban on Hindu Students," "Hindus in China," "Sisters and Brothers of our Human Family!" and "In Tibet" by Mahendra Pratap, "India -- Whither Bound?" by D.S.
