Short letter from Har Dayal to Van Wyck Brooks, dated March 6, 1914 and posted from Berkeley, California. Dayal's letter accompanied five packages meant for the British anarchist Guy Aldred. The packages are labeled "V.W. Brooks," "Van W. Brooks, "Van Wyck Brooks," each name used to qualify a different "class" of package. The contents of the package are not given.

Permanent address: Berkeley (Cal) March 6, 1914 My dear Brooks, I shall write a long letter very soon. Am extremely busy today. Am sending you five packages for Aldred. You need not go to see him. Just ask him to come over & take them. Or better still, please ask him to send some friend to take them, as he may be shadowed. The addresses on the packages indicate the class to which they belong. V.W. Brooks -- Class A (2 packages) Van W. Brooks -- Class B (1 package) Van Wyck Brooks -- Class C (2 packages) I shall also explain this in my letter to Aldred. Will write soon.
