DESCRIPTION
The June 1924 issue of the United States of India (Vol. 1, No. 10) published from the headquarters of the "Pacific Coast Hindustani Association" at No. 5 Wood Street, San Francisco featured two major articles: "Callous Treatment of Hindu Prisoners," which focuses on Prithwi Singh, who had come to America in 1914, and was later accused of murder in the Lahore Conspiracy Case; and "Oppressed Nationalities Indict England," which reports on the congress of representatives of Morocco, Algiers, Tuins, Tripoli, Egypt, Arabia and India meeting at Baku, Azerbaijan.
