This document is the last two pages of a sixteen-page description of the social state of Bangladesh in 1977. It was compiled by the South Asia Research Group, and describes the Zia regime in detail, along with a comparison with repression in Japan.

Bangladesh Committee for Human Rights Flyer
Flyer distributed by the Bangladesh Committee for Human Rights urging the public to send telegrams, phone calls, and letters to the Embassy of Bangladesh to halt the retrial of Sirajal Alam Khan, leader of Jatiyo Samajtantrik Dal, the Bangladesh opposition party. The retrial was feared to result in his execution by Zia-ur-Rahman’s government.
