SAMAR Magazine Issue #11 (Spring/Summer 1999)
The Spring/Summer 1999 issue of SAMAR (No. 11), subtitled “Organizing Women: Taking Stock, Moving On,” examines the lives and rights of South Asian Women in North America. The issue includes contributions from Shamita Das Dasgupta, Amisha Patel, Barbara Foley, Bakirati Mani, Naresh Fernandes, Paul Greenough, Srimati Basu, Maya Sharma, and Aparajita Sagar.
The Second Honor Banquet
Program from Second Honor Banquet on November 9, 1974 in New York, NY sponsored by the Association of Indians in America, Inc. The Banquet honored award recipients: Professor Amiya Chakravarty, Senator John Sherman Cooper, Professor Harish Chandra, Professor Stella Kramrisch, Dr. C.K.N. Patel, and Mr. A.M. Rosenthal. The keynote address was given by Vance Hartke.
Masjid Salam
Photograph taken outside Masjid Salam at the funeral of an African taxi driver who was killed by a passenger. The mosque was too full inside, so some drivers opted to pray outside.

Justice Respect Dignity Banner
Photograph from the Lease Drivers Coalition's first ever action in August 1997. Lease Drivers Coalition members formed a motorcade from 14th Street to City Hall. The banner reads "Justice. Respect. Dignity." In 1998, the word "Rights" was added to the slogan and it became what it is today, "Justice. Rights. Respect. Dignity."
