Booklet published and distributed by the New York-based India League of America with reprints of two essays by Jawaharlal Nehru: "Can Indians Get Together?" first printed in the July 19, 1942 edition of the New York Times, and "India's Day of Reckoning," first printed in the April 1942 issue of Fortune.
Islamic Culture
Booklet titled Islamic Culture by Marmeduke Pickthal published by the San Francisco-based Moslem Society of U.S.A. An English translator of the Quran, Pickthal narrates his interpretation of Islamic Culture. Elsewhere, the booklet contains descriptions and prices of the various other publications by the Moslem Society, as well as its mission statement.
Indian Independence Celebrations
Program for Indian Independence Celebration exhibition organized by the Students Association of India in Los Angeles and held on August 13, 1949. The contents of the program describe the initial conception of the exhibition, and the back page provides a list of participants.

Pamphlet titled "Family Limitation" by Margaret Sanger, published in 1919. Sanger was a birth control activist, who also was a member of the Friends of Freedom for India.

June 1952 issue of India Today, the monthly bulletin of the India League of America. The issue includes several news items, including a transcript of Indian President Rajendra Prasad's address to the India Parliament on May 16, 1952.
L.A. hails India's new sovereignty
Newspaper clipping from January 26, 1950. The article, titled "L.A. Hails India's New Sovereignty," discusses a celebration for Indian independence held at the Armenian Center in Los Angeles, and sponsored by the Students' Association of India, India Cultural Society, and American Wives of India.

Pamphlet by J.J. Singh, president of the India League of America, titled "India and America" and dated June 1947. The pamphlet contains nine articles by Singh, written between September and November 1946, and published in various Indian newspapers.
India Independence Day
Program for India Independence Day Dinner held in New York on January 26, 1945, and hosted by the India League of America. The guest of honor the dinner was Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit; also in attendance was Sirdar J.J. Singh, Pearl Buck, Lin Yutang, Elsa Maxwell, Francis J. McConnell, and William Shirer.
