Letter from Stephen Shimer to Nandkishor
A letter dated July 2, 1981 from Stephen Shimer, India Trading Company, to Nandkishor. The letter introduces Mr. V.P. Channon as the previous owner of the India Trading Company, which was sold to Sidha Corporation International in 1980. The letter explains that Mr. Channon hosted Maharishi in 1959 and wished to pay his respects again.

The document eulogizes her as one of the first Indian women to enter the United States (in 1915), and lists off many of her relatives. Per the program, the service was followed by a dinner in her honor, held at the headquarters of the Greater Los Angeles Press Club.
